Mike has been surrounded by the game of golf for over 30 years. Growing up as a junior member at Peninsula Lakes Golf Club, Mike played junior golf on the local Niagara Junior Tour, the GTAs ClubLink Tour, as well as Golf Ontario provincial tournaments. His career in the golf industry started in 1999, working in a retail setting at Nevada Bobs in St. Catharines, until he joined Niagara Parks in 2003. While there Mike has progressed from Assistant Professional to Associate Professional at Whirlpool Golf Course, before moving on to Legends on the Niagara where he is also a Master Club Fitter at the TaylorMade Performance Centre. Mike passed his Playing Ability Test to gain Professional status in 2004. Since then, Mike has earned his PGA of Canada Class A status (2013), while gaining experience in all areas of the game of golf, from teaching, to club fitting, and club repair. Mike has been teaching since 2005 and has experience teaching a variety of players at any age and skill level. Mike has a passion for the game of golf and helping people improve their game.
